I work in the heritage sector, currently in funded roles at Erewash Museum in Ilkeston and The Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham. My specialisms are community participation, volunteer management, learning and costumed interpretation.
Freelance heritage work has included volutneer coordination, script writing, workshop delivering and costumed interpretation. I have undertaken freelance work for Nottingham City Museums Group, the National Civil War Centre (Newark Museums), Erewash Museum and the Galleries of Justice Museum.
If you are interested in talking to me about costumed interpretation, heritage script writing and workshop design or community participation work, please don't hesitate to send me an email.
I am a Liberal Democrat activist in the Nottingham, Broxtowe and Ashfield areas. In 2015 I was elected as a town councillor on Eastwood Town Council, where I served as Deputy Mayor between 2015 and 2016. In 2016, I joined the Stronger In campaign, to Remain in the European Union.
I am a passionate believer in equality, fairness and liberty. Causes close to my heart include access to education, international co-operation, LGBTQ+ rights and gender equality, the European Union and the environment.
